I know it is good for you, but for some reason, I really don't like the taste of tea. My daughter is always telling me to taste this or that tea blend ("It doesn't even taste like tea, Mom"). Never works. I can always taste the tea.Sweet Posy Dreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07915541210527642552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3888638695975944987.post-30206732890309319402012-09-29T08:19:25.417-04:002012-09-29T08:19:25.417-04:00Thank you so much Isobel - I (obviously) have no f...Thank you so much Isobel - I (obviously) have no first hand experience with growing tea - the "fermented" part came from my online research (Wikipedia actually). I guess not everything I read online is true eh? How very interesting - growing up on a tea estate. Now I'm very curious - does tea have a scent when it is growing? - Or does it not have that wonderful crisp fragrance until it is processed?<br />Thank you for the great information!AngieOuellette-Towerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03912106023113749359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3888638695975944987.post-20527096297906313952012-09-29T06:46:07.397-04:002012-09-29T06:46:07.397-04:00I grew up on a tea estate in India, and had a cous...I grew up on a tea estate in India, and had a cousin who tea-planted in Sri Lanka (it was called Ceylon then!) and Kenya. The tea was always plucked, and dried - never to my knowledge (though memory is not as good as it once was!) fermented. Am afraid I like my old-fashioned tea leaves too much to try Green tea! Stick in the mud, that's me!Isobel Morrellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13562228276170917504noreply@blogger.com
