Liebster Blog Award



I am honored and have been awarded the "Liebster Blog Award" by Anastasia from
"In the Shadow of Life (aka - Life of Blocks)" (please checkout her wonderful blog).  THANK YOU Anastasia!!

11 Random facts about Myself
-  I had 5 wisdom teeth removed
- I am a Canadian
- I run away from bees (even though I am a home gardener)
- Chief Pontiac is my 5th great grandfather
- I dislike caramel
- I'm a visual person
- I'm claustrophobic
- "Give me, give me never gets - don't you know your manners yet" was a childhood saying that I would repeat if someone said "Give me that!"
- Cottonwood makes me sneeze
-  Wearing a watch makes me dizzy
-  Nails on a chalkboard:  EHHHHHHHH! (me screaming & pulling my hair out)

1. What books are on your night stand right now? My Bible
2. What was the last movie you watched in the theater? The first "Harry Potter" movie
3. Are you a crafter? What's your favorite craft? - Yes - I am a gourd artist.
4. Are you a collector or a purger?  The only thing that I collect is "American Sweetheart" depression glass.
5. What's your latest addiction? BBC TV show "Lark Rise to Candleford"
6. What's your favorite thing to do during your "mommy time"?  I have 1 large breed dog & 1 stray cat - "mommy time" doesn't apply.
7. What's your favorite stage of childhood? Not sure.
8. Coffee or tea? Favorite type/flavor? Coffee - tied for my favorite is Tim Horton's & Evelyn Bay's Orange Coffee.
9. Favorite indulgence? Dark Chocolate
10. Favorite season? Autumn but winter is a close second.
11. Favorite holiday?  Christmas

  5. I loved reading your comments. I've been wanting to try some gourd art. I love the things made with them. I'll have to find some project to do with them. I realy like the bird feeders I've seen. I enjoy Lark Rise... too! So fun to learn more about people!!

      I heard that "Lark Rise" will not be renewed for a fifth season - very sad.

  6. Thank you, Angie, for the nice shout-out. So fun to read the facts about you. I had never heard the "give me" saying; that's a good one. I also don't know that BBC show. I'll have to check that out, as I am a big BBC fan. "Doc Martin" is one of my current favorites.

    Congratulations on the award. You deserve it!
