Potatoes in the Garden

With Thanksgiving and Christmas arriving in just a matter of weeks our attentions move from the garden to the table.  Potatoes in some form or another always seem to be featured treats at most holiday meals - that's why I'm calling this week Potato Week - in preparation for the Holidays.

Today we are going to talk about planting, growing & harvesting potatoes.  Even if you didn't grow any of your own potatoes this year it's never too early to start planning next year's garden!!  You might think that a homegrown potato can't taste much different form store bought - then you've never tasted a potato freshly dug from the soil! - It is melt in your mouth wonderful!!
