The "Doctrine of Preservation" is Deceptive

The "Doctrine of Preservation" is Deceptive

Buckle up and pray for discernment because the topic of today's post will be shocking to many seasoned believers.

We will begin by defining what this doctrine is all about:

Doctrine of Preservation - states that Scripture/the Bible is the written word of God and has been so throughout history and will continue to remain God's inspired word into the future (that His word is preserved in writing and is unchanging in that written form forever).

Now, I agree that the Bible is "God breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16) and I am writing this post because of that belief.  However, by using this "God inspired" written work (the Bible), I am able to show that His word is NOT preserved forever in written form.  As it states in the verse below:

SundayGodsWord1a

God's word is written in our hearts - that verse above clearly states "written not with ink".

Also, God's word is NOT preserved in paper form forever.  His word is ONLY preserved in heaven forever (see verse below):

"O Lord, thy word is preserved forever in heaven."
Psalm 119:89

In February of this year, the Holy Spirit urged me to do a three part series on God's word (links to those posts are below):

I first started being concerned about human manipulation of God's written word a few years ago when I did a series comparing the NIV and NKJV (click HERE to view one of those posts in that series: "Bible Version Discrepancies #8").  During that research I discovered that the NIV (and many of the modern versions) was only written in 1978 by a "scholar" who just happens to be a member of a "Secret Society" (click HERE to read "SECRECY #8 - Secret Society Whistleblower")

I then started to think about "copyright".  Why is it that all of these Bible versions are copyrighted?  If it was God's written word, then only God himself could be the copyright holder.  Let's be clear and define "copyright":

Copyright - the legal right granted to an author, publisher, composer, or distributor to exclusive publication, sale or production (and distribution) of literary, musical or artistic work.

Is our Heavenly Father receiving the money from the sale of "His" word, His literary work??  Obviously the answer is "no".
In part#2 of the series I did this year on God's Word we learned that peddling God's word is a definite DON'T.

As I started to realize that this "doctrine" could be wrong I started to really "freak out".  I was feeling almost lost.  Then one day I prayed and asked that God would show me direction on this matter - I opened my Bible to Proverbs 1:23:

"I will make my word known to you"

Wow!!!  I was immediately calmed and have not worried about this realization since.  We should be drawing from the power within us (click HERE to read "God's Power Within Us").

Nowhere in God's inspired Bible does it say that His written word will be preserved forever on paper.  This is a manipulation of God's truth and this "doctrine" is deceptive.
