Today is my 17th wedding anniversary so I wanted to share with you another flower feature from my father's roses.
Today's Flower Feature is The Sunset Rose.
If you look at the colors in the sunset picture you will notice that this rose shares many of the same colors.  I included a picture below of the back side of this beautiful flower - you can see the bright yellow and that color glows through the middle inside of the flower also - therefore resembling a sunset.

Please ENJOY this digital bunch of "Sunset Roses" !

  1. how beautiful...my rose garden has been extremely neglected this summer, poor babies and bad me. I have 12 bushes in my rose garden, and I found out afterwards that I put my rose garden right above my septic tank. opps. thank you for the link to your pruning tips.

  3. What a gorgeous color! Roses are one thing I haven't really tried my hand at with flower garden. Perhaps when we buy a house, I'd hate to give my landlord "free" roses, lol!

  6. It is a pretty color for a lovely rose.
And what wonderfull photos you've taken, love the way you've staged the rose, so much more interesting than just a picture of a cut flower in a vase of water.
