13 Sunflower Varieties & Counting......

The sunflower is one of my favorite types of flower.  Many people do not realize how many different sunflower varieties there are available for growing.  Over the passed 3 years I have been sharing with you these unique sunflower varieties  - unfortunately last year (2014) was a difficult year for the sunflower:  click HERE to see what happened in my sunflower garden last year!

More sunflower varieties to come this year (2015) on God's Growing Garden!

All photos were taken by me (Angie Ouellette-Tower) and the sunflowers were all grown in my garden.

  3. These are so nice to see on a cold winters day. Spring planting will begin before we know it.

  4. Stopping by from Turn It Up Tuesday. I love sunflowers. I plant them in my kitchen garden each year. My favorite is the Lemon Queen. I also plant Mammoth and Autumn Beauty. I'm loving the Royal Flush. I'll have to search for those, they're not available in my area. Thanks for sharing.
