SOLAR POWER Sunflower Variety
In case you missed it - a few days ago I explained why sunflower season here on God's Growing Garden was delayed this year. Usually my sunflower posts start at the beginning of September but I had a late start and then we had a big storm (click HERE to read "Sunflower Season & the Storm"). I grew three varieties this year (actually, I grew four but the fourth was a joke - I'll explain in a different post). This is the second sunflower post of 2026. Today I am featuring: "SOLAR POWER" Sunflower variety.
This is a beautiful variety - it looks like an electrical circuit of orange being turned on by the sun. Each flower was just a little different with the extent of that inner orange brightness.
Before showing the featured pictures, I wanted to remind you why sunflowers are my favorite flower. Sunflowers always turn towards the sun - you can literally see them gently turning throughout the day to follow the sun. To be very clear - I am NOT a "sun" worshiper. However, I am a "Son" worshiper: Jesus Christ, the Son of God and I strive every day to grow and turn towards Him in every aspect of my life.
ENJOY the following pictures!
