Wisdom From Heaven #9 - IMPARTIAL

This is the ninth post in the series called "Wisdom from Heaven".  In this series we will be studying James chapter 3, which details how to put heavenly wisdom into practice in our everyday lives.

Today we are focusing on being IMPARTIAL.

Let's begin by defining:

Impartial - treating all rivals or disputants equally;  fair, just.

Over the past few weeks we have been studying JUSTICE.
As a reminder, the definition of
justice - the maintenance or administration of  what is just, fair or moral.
Justice and impartiality are similar and therefore it is helpful to revisit what we have already studied (click on each title to view that post):

You will notice in Romans 2:11 (see picture above) that God does NOT show ANY favoritism EVER!!  That means everyone is EQUALLY loved by God!  He does not favor anyone over another.
He loves me as much as He loves you.

It is also very important to remember that we should NEVER "get even" with anyone (see verse below).  Put all of our troubles in God's hands - trust Him - He will bring about justice.

"God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well."
2 Thessalonians 1:6
.

It's just that simple - do NOTHING out of favoritism.  If we love others as God loves us then showing partiality will be impossible.
