What I'm Thankful for Today #11 - HERBS
About ten years ago I did a series called "365 Days of Being THANKFUL". Everyday I posted something for which I was thankful and I did this for 365 days. Well, this year I decided to do a smaller version of that series and post something everyday during the month of November.
Today I am thankful for HERBS.
"Herbs" can be the leaf of the plant, the seed, the flower or the root. There are three types of herbs that I grow:
1. Culinary - dill, basil (Genovese, lemon & Holy basil), chives, thyme, parsley,
oregano (which can also be medicinal), mint (traditional, spearmint & chocolate mint), sage, cilantro and fennel.
2. Aroma - lavender, southernwood, costmary and lemon balm.
3. Medicinal - echinacea, burdock, stevia and coffee chicory.
The following are some of my favorite herb posts
