Before I made this, I'll have you know I went to Target and found a basic planner. That could have been the end of the story, right? But I stared at that little planner for a long time. Yes...it had a calendar which is what I needed. Yes, it had few places for jotting down notes, which is what I needed. But I just didn't want to purchase it.
Family Prayer Sticks from Shelly @ Dolen Diaries
We typically say grace before we have dinner. The boys often argue over who gets to say it which is both sweet and kind of missing the point. However, our nightly grace was starting to sound a lot like this, “Heavenly Father, I hope this dinner tastes good. Amen.” As much as I like the boys praying that the dinner I thoughtfully prepared would taste good, I thought it was time to make our graces more meaningful.
Famous Last Words from Jenny @ The Jenny Evolution
Before a person has children, it’s easy to pass judgement. And then you have them. It slowly dawns on you that you had absolutely no idea what it meant to be a parent and raise a child. Rather than feeling foolish for all of those bold statements I made about parenthood before joining the club, I’m embracing my naivety and sharing them with you.
Raspberry Angel Dessert Recipe #Bloggerettes
from Summer Scraps
Nothing is more important than your heart. Nothing. That’s why we have brought you a collection of heart-healthy and heart-shaped recipes. Help warm the heart of a loved one with one of our fabulous ideas we’re sharing. Also, let us help you begin your journey to better heart health, by keeping these simple steps in mind:
Free Spring Bunting from Momasaurus
Buntings are a cutsie way to decorate for the holidays, events or in this case, the changing season. Since spring is right around the corner (God Willing…get outta here you polar vortex!) I’m sharing my free “spring” bunting, which you can download, print & easily assemble in just a few steps.
"Frozen" Cookies from Veronica @ Of Mice and Ramen
I was inspired to make these cookies. Can you guess what they are? Hint - they are supposed to be Olaf, the adorable talking snowman from "Frozen". My boys thought they were ghosts before I added those twiggy hands and hair! Dang! And I was so proud of my attempt!
How to Primp for a Date Night
from Confessions Of The Perfect Mom
You have been reading about how fun makeup can be. You have gone out and bought all kinds of new makeup; or pulled out all of yours that is collecting dust. Now what??
Here is my going out, date night with the hubby makeup look. I am going to use (this is in no particular order): Naked 2 by Urban Decay (eyes), Pink Peony by Bobbi Brown (blush), Maybelinne Big Eyes (mascara), High Tea by MAC (lips), Stay Matte Foundation by Rimmel (Face), Forever Young by Lush (for highlight), Baby Skin by Maybelline (as a primer), and last but never least, Black Cherry by Zethina (gel eyeliner). This is going to sound way way harder to apply then it actually is.
