The Enduring Journey of the Magi

Many Christians celebrate the "epiphany" or "Three Kings Day" on January 6th.  This commemorates the 3 Magi visiting the Child Jesus Christ.  This is the final video in the Nativity series.  Previously we focused on Mary's Faithful Life (click HERE to view), on Joseph's Faithful Actions (click HERE to view) & on The Swift Actions of the Shepherds (click HERE to view)  Now we are going to study about the Enduring Journey of the Magi.  I hope that you enjoy this video!

22 Treasures - DECORATION

In February of this year there were two palindromic dates: 2/20/2022 & 2/22/22 (palindromic meaning it is the same from left to right or from right to left - 2202022 & 22222).  The number 2 is an interesting number.  There is no other number that I can think of that has the same result when it is added to itself and multiplied by itself [I am not a mathematician, so I could be wrong.  And, I am not including zero because zero is nothing (literally nothing 0 + 0 = 0 and 0 x 0 = 0)]:

2 + 2 = 4

2 x 2 = 4

Four is the same answer whether 2 is added or multiplied by itself.

With that being said, since 22 (2 and 2) are so unique, I thought I'd continue posting in this series during the year 2022 called:

22 Treasures

DAY#24 - Bible Verse Advent Calendar (Isaiah 9:6)

Advent is the season that begins the celebration of Jesus' coming to earth.  The word "Advent" is derived from the Latin word "adventus" which means "coming".  During Advent Christians celebrate the birth of the Messiah Jesus but it is also a time to prepare for the second coming of Christ. 

Every year I try to feature a different Advent calendar - last year, if you recall we wandered through a German village.  This year we are blessed with a Bible Verse calendar focusing around the nativity.

Today is December 24th and I am opening Box#24

Inside we find this verse

(I found a misprint!!!!  It should be verse 6 NOT verse 5):

“For unto us a Child is born,

Unto us a Son is given;

And the government will be upon His shoulder.
