We bought leaf bags yesterday, our leaf raking has just began, yet our leaf silos are already full. We will let them compost in the bags until spring and use them in the garden. Thanks so much for the link-up, have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the raking! We finished this weekend too. Thanks for the party.
ReplyDeleteThank you for featuring the mini Pumpkin Cakes that I made for my daughter Beth's 3rd birthday so many years ago (she just turned 54!). She's always been a huge pumpkin fan & writes down the date that Starbuck's releases their Pumpkin Spice each year (haha). Not many fancy pans in 1974, so I used egg-shaped (6 to a pan) & stuck them together ~ then stood them up and made the creases in the sides & frosted them. Maybe not the smartest idea for a 3rd birthday since most of the kids took 1 bite ~ but the parents loved them! ... I posted a photo of some perennial red Dianthus that I found @ Home Depot. They get to be 2 feet tall and hardy to -40 degrees! You might like those for a spot of color in the winter! Thanks again and I'll be back tomorrow!
