Energy, Frequency & Vibration #17 - Wall of Jericho

SundayFrequency17

Energy, Frequency & Vibration #17 - Wall of Jericho

This is part 17 in the series on "Energy, Frequency & Vibration."  Last month we narrowed our focus mostly on vibration.  While all three (energy, frequency & vibration) are present at the same time, for the next few posts in this series we are going to focus more on the vibration aspect.

Just as a reminder:

Vibration - a periodic motion of the particles of an elastic body or medium in alternately opposite direction from the position of equilibrium when that equilibrium has been disturbed (eg.  music tones).

Today we are going to study the fall of the 'Wall of Jericho" in the Old Testament.
Before getting to the Scripture passages, I wanted to share some of the research I found online about vibration caused by our movement and the effect it has on the buildings we use.
For the most part our movement only causes building decline over many years.  However, when talking about a stadium where crowds might be jumping up and down (or bobbing) - that is when damage is a possibility.  Just keep in mind that stadiums are made to withstand that type of movement.

Below is a list of the vibration strength measured in Hz that our moving around has:

Walking: 1.5 – 2.2 Hz
Running: 2 – 4 Hz
Descending stairs: 1 – 4.5 Hz
Synchronized crowd bobbing: 1 – 3 Hzz

Keep that list in mind as we study the Wall of Jericho in the book of Joshua.

We are going to skip over the portion in this story that talks about Rahab because she is one of the people of faith who we will be studying in the new series called "By Your Faith" (click HERE to view the first post in that series).

Let me remind you of what just happened to the Israelites - Moses passed away and Joshua took over leading them into their promised land of Canaan.  The first city that they came to was Jericho - a fortified city with a 20 foot high wall around its entirety.  I researched how far the distance is around the city would have been and I found conflicting information.  The shortest was a half a mile around and the longest was 1.5 miles (either way it is still significant).

Let's look at the first five verses in Joshua chapter 6:

SundayFrequency17a

God gave Joshua precise instructions - the entire army were to march around the Wall of Jericho once a day for 6 days while blowing their trumpets and then on the final 7th day they were to walk around seven times. (see verses below):

SundayFrequency17b

Just imagine the rumbling that the entire army marching around the wall must have caused.   The final vibration that collapsed the wall was the shout that the entire army yelled (see Scripture below):

SundayFrequency17c

Now remember, the Canaanites were Baal worshipers and they did vile, unthinkable acts like sacrificing their own children!  That's why even the possessions (like idols) that belonged to the Canaanites had to be utterly destroyed.

How amazing that must have been to see the entire wall crumble in front of them (just from following God's instructions exactly).

Palak Paneer Patties (a Modern Twist on a Curry Classic)

2026-3-011 (2)

Palak Paneer Patties
(a Modern Twist on a Curry Classic)

Palak Paneer is curry dish centered around homemade cheese called "Paneer".  This cheese is cut into cubes and sauteed in butter before adding to the tomato, spinach cream sauce that is then served over rice.  Today I am sharing my twist on that recipe.  I made the rice & cheese into patties and then poured the sauce over the patties.
Another twist is that I used homemade cottage cheese instead of homemade paneer (simply because it is more moist and is easier to form patties.  Paneer and homemade cottage cheese have the same flavor - just the texture is different).
Below are links to both homemade cheeses (Paneer & cottage cheese):

Ingredients for Patties
3 cups homemade cottage cheese
2 1/2 cups cooked jasmine rice (I used jasmine instead of basmati because jasmine is stickier and easier to form patties)(measure 2 1/2 cups after cooked)
1 egg (lightly whisked)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp turmeric (powder)
1/4 tsp Indian chili pepper (or cayenne) ground
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 onion (chopped and sauteed in olive oil with 1 tsp cumin seed)
flour for dredging
butter

Ingredients for Sauce/Gravy
other half of onion
1 cup frozen chopped spinach
1 quart home-canned whole tomatoes (drained)
1 cup heavy cream (or more if needed)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp cumin seed
1 tblsp (or more) garam masala
Indian chili pepper to taste
1 whole cayenne pepper
salt to taste
1 tblsp honey
fresh cilantro to garnish on top

Begin by preparing the patty ingredients as listed:  sauté the onion & cumin, cook the rice (make cheese at least the day before).  In a large bowl combine the egg, cottage cheese and sauteed onion/cumin - stir until combined.  Then add the spices and stir again.  Finally, add the rice and stir until combined (see 3 pictures below):

Now form six equal patties (see below).  Cover each patty with flour and then place them on a parchment lined cookie sheet.  Dollop each patty with a little butter (top and bottom) (see picture below).

Place in a preheated 375 degree oven for 15 minutes on each side (or until desired golden brown color is achieved.

Sauce/Gravy Instructions

Sauté the other half of the onion (chopped), cumin & garlic in a little olive oil for a couple minutes (medium heat).  Then add the frozen spinach and continue sautéing  (see picture below).

unnamed (73)

Add the drained canned tomatoes - continue cooking and stirring occasionally  (see picture below).

unnamed (72)

Add the rest of the spices and cook for a few minutes.  Then add the cream and honey (see picture below).

unnamed (78)

Pour the chunky sauce into a deep bowl and blend using an immersible blender (remove whole cayenne pepper first) until it resembles the picture bottom left.  Add the frozen peas and cook over low heat for a few minutes until the peas are cooked (see picture below).  (NOTE - at this point if the sauce is not saucy enough then add some more heavy cream until your desired liquid consistency is achieved.

Once the patties have been baked on both sides, remove from the oven (see picture below).

unnamed (84)

Place a patty on each plate and pour the sauce covering the patty.  Garnish with garden fresh cilantro (see pictures below).

Serve & ENJOY!
