Strawberry Lime Linzer Cookies

Strawberry Lime Linzer Cookies

I have a bit of a cookie cutter collection and this Easter/Spring Linzer Cutter set is one of my favorites.  You can see the cookie set in the picture below on the left - it includes middle cutout shapes of a rabbit, duck, basket, butterfly, egg and a daisy.

I created this recipe with the purpose of using some of my home canned Strawberry Jam.  Most of the cookies that I make seem to be very soft - I wanted a crisp cookie for a change and this fits the bill.  Also, the flavor combination of strawberry and lime is a burst of spring freshness!

NOTE:  Apologies to my Gluten-Free readers - this recipe is NOT for you.

This recipe is available in my ebook:

  1. Not a quick cookie to make, I'm sure, but the results are definitely worth it. If I had grandchildren, I would definitely make this for them!

  2. They look simply delicious Angie! Sorry not to have been commenting recently - have been a tad busy elsewhere. Hope to start blogging again too - but not for a night or two, as I've got to stuff Rusty the Monster Bear before I can put thoughts and tutorials together1

Have a Happy Easter - though I hope to have blogged by then. Cheers. Isobel

  3. Happy Easter! These look delicious and colorful, thanks for sharing!

  4. So cute! Would love for you to link these up at Mealtime Monday

  5. Wow! These look amazing! I found them on Mealtime Monday:)
I am now following you on Linky Followers and would love a follow back.

Thank You.
