Essential Oil Saturdays#1 - Introduction
I have been using "lavender oil" for many years now as a relaxation and sleep aid but my knowledge and experience with essential oils in general was just that "lavender oil." However, this past Christmas I was given the gift of Essential Oils (specifically Young Living Essential Oils) and I am amazed at the vast wellness possibilities. Essential oils can be used topically, internally (certain oils only) and most amazingly through aromatherapy (through our sense of smell). I was also astonished to learn that the use of essential oils is ancient and Biblical.
I'm sure that we are all familiar with this Bible verse (both frankincense & myrrh are essential oils):
"On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh."
Every Saturday I will share something from my own experience or feature one specific essential oil and share with you any information that I have found through online research. If you are regular to this blog then you know that I am NOT "pushy" when it comes to selling - I just enjoy sharing anything that I have found helpful. However, if you are interested in buying from "Young Living Essential Oils" we would be so appreciative if you would use this number: 10283796 (it is my sister's membership number & she will receive a small commission - Thank you)
