Energy, Frequency & Vibration #9 - RED
This is part 9 in the series on "Energy, Frequency & Vibration." Last month we learned about the frequency of color and I mentioned that in the future we will go through each color in more detail. Well, today we begin with the color RED and we will study what significance that color has in the Bible.
Just to refresh our memories - below is the frequency chart from the previous COLOR post:
The most significant representation of the color RED in God's Word is of course Jesus' shed blood, which in turn cleanses ALL of us from our sins (and is the gift of eternal life).
See the verses below (these are just a few of many Scripture passages that talk about Jesus' shed blood in exchange for our salvation):
I believe that it is important to note that the color red has the lowest frequency and (besides when referring to Jesus' sacrifice) is always symbolizing or having to do with something evil.
Let's look at how the soldiers who crucified Jesus mocked Jesus beforehand and dressed Him in the Roman soldier uniform (which just happened to be red in color):
And in the Old Testament, the prophesy about the city of Nineveh describes the soldier's uniforms and protective gear as being red (see Bible verses below):
Also, let's not forget about what happened to the Israelites at the Red Sea when God saved them from the Egyptians. (It's called the "Red Sea" because there was a red algae that gave the sea a reddish tint). (see below):
Finally, let's just touch on the significance of "red" in Revelation. The "fiery red" horse who was given the power to take peace from the earth. And then the "red dragon" (satan) in Revelation 12 (see passages below):
Jesus' RED shed blood overrides all of the evil RED. Jesus' sacrifice gives all who accept this free gift of forgiveness eternal life.
