Christian Camp Songs & Chorus Hymns

I spent many years in my late teens and early twenties working at Christian Camps.  I even met my husband at a Christian camp.  These wonderful memories of great experiences make Christian camp songs very special to me.

On top of featuring an old hymn each month in what I call "Old Fashioned Sunday Hymn Sing" - I will also be featuring a chorus hymn every month - ENJOY!
This featured song was my favorite camp song - especially when sung in a round.  I remember sitting around the campfire with a warm glow on everyone's face while we sang this song.  Unfortunately, I could NOT find any history nor the composer and writer of this song - please let me know who that is if you are able to find that information.

"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' "
Matthew 22:37

Please take time to  listen to the YouTube video below the lyrics .  This version is sung in a round like I remember - the last line is a little bit different than the version that I remember singing.

Love the Lord Your God
words & music by unknown (I researched & could not find who composed this song)

Verse#1.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind and love all of mankind as you would love yourself and...

Verse#2.  L o v e the Lord your G o d with all your h e a r t, and all your soul and mind and love all mankind

Verse#3. We've got Christian lives to live, we've got Jesus' Love to give, we've got nothing to hide because in Him we find LOVE!

A special thanks to "tspeir0" for sharing this with us on YouTube
