Part #1 - Ring of Fire Sunflower

This is the tenth year showcasing sunflower varieties grown in my garden.  I have had some difficult sunflower seasons in the past and this year also had some problems.  This is the third post in the Sunflower Series of 2020 and today I am featuring a sunflower that has a perfectly fitting name - RING OF FIRE.  Each petal is like a flame in a campfire - just stunningly beautiful.

I have so many wonderful pictures of this sunflower variety, so I have split them up into two posts (This is part#1).

ENJOY the following pictures!

All photos were taken by me (Angie Ouellette-Tower) and the sunflowers were all grown in my garden.

  1. I love this post. I am a sunflower lover, too and this year was my first year, planting more than just a few. Many are blooming right now. I especially am fond of the rust colored ones. I don't have enough of them so I look forward to next year. They are the most fun flower to have in a garden. I just can't get enough of them.
