The Truth About Christian Zionism
The topic for today's study is another controversial one but we can NOT ignore certain important topics just because it might be uncomfortable.
The format for today's post is also a little different - I am featuring a video by "Halal Hogan" (see near the end of this post) and we will be detailing everything he says in this video.
Halal Hogan was a Muslim comedian who converted to Christianity. In this video he is explaining (using Scripture) why Israel is not the "chosen people." Which then brings me to my disclaimer:
I have not, am not and will never condone, encourage or participate in any kind of hate or violence towards any person or group of people.
Feel free to press "play" on the video and then follow along by reading this post simultaneously.
The Scripture below is called "Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers" NKJV or "The Parable of the Tenants" NIV
In that parable the:
- Vineyard represents Israel
- Tenants represent Rulers
- The Son represents Jesus
- Landowner represents God the Father
Jesus is saying to the Jews that when they kill Him, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from them.
In the passage above the "Subjects of the kingdom" represent the Jews. And the non-Jews (including the Roman soldier), who have faith in Jesus will eat with Abraham, Isaac & Jacob in God's kingdom.
In the series that I am doing on "The Tribes of Israel" (part#3) we touched on something similar - God will "disregard" the Jews for breaking the covenant by falling away and sacrificing to idols (click HERE to read "God's Covenant with Abraham").
In this passage from Romans the noncircumcised represent the Gentiles and the circumcised represent the Jews. A "True Jew" is someone who follows Jesus Christ and the "Fake Jews" are the Jews who reject Jesus.
The Scripture below is about "Hagar & Sarah". The two women in these verses represent 2 covenants. Hagar represents the old covenant and bears children who will be slaves. Whereas, Sarah's child is the promise God gave Abraham (a child born by the power of the Holy Spirit).
Both in Hebrews and Revelation (seen below), we learn that the Heavenly Jerusalem is the city of the Living God. Also, we learn that God will dwell with us when New Jerusalem comes down.
Finally, both passages from Galatians (seen above) show us that we are the true offspring of Abraham through faith in Jesus Christ.
A special thanks to "Demon Erasers" for sharing this on YouTube
We are all one in Christ through faith, therefore we are Abraham's seed and heirs.
