Garden Abundance of 2025 (with RECIPES)

2025-Sunflowers

Garden Abundance of 2025 (with RECIPES)

For the past few years our garden was attacked by critters (squirrels, chipmunks, deer and the worst of all - ground hogs).  Well, this year we became a little smarter and bought some protecting mesh fabric for certain garden rows.  For the most part it worked!  We still did have a resident groundhog but we were able to keep the damage from totally destroying our harvest.  (click HERE to see the damage from last year)

Since we were wise, we had a wonderful garden of abundance!!!  I am praising my Heavenly Father for his provision and amazing creation.
Here are the crops of abundance from this year:
- peppers
- zucchini
- blackberries
- apricots
- strawberries

PEPPERS

This is the first year that we canned pepper jam.  I did not share this recipe on the blog but I will have to do so next year because we loved it - Very delicious.

The next two recipes have peppers in the ingredients but they are not pepper focused recipes:

ZUCCHINI

My favorite zucchini variety is a climber called "Tromboncino Zucchini".  The vines from this variety have such amazing tendrils - I included a post about "tendrils" below also:

The blackberry patch has spread beyond my imagination!

APRICOTS

Our apricots were on the small size but totally abundant in amount.

STRAWBERRIES

Our strawberry patch is getting better and better every year.  Below are a few new RECIPES:

I still have 2 rows of sweet potatoes to harvest.  Checkout the beautiful sweet potato blossom from earlier this summer:
