SKYSCRAPER Sunflower Variety
This is the final sunflower post of 2025. Normally, SUNFLOWER Season here on God's Growing Garden occurs during the month of September, but this year my dear father became very ill and passed away much earlier than we expected. Anyway, it is because of my father that I garden -I learned so much from him. (Click HERE to view a post dedicated to my father.) My heart is aching but I know that I will see him again some day. This is the fifth sunflower post of 2025. Today I am featuring: "SKYSCRAPER" Sunflower variety.
This variety's name is very appropriate because of it's height. I'm not very good at judging the height but my husband said our tallest Skyscraper was between 10 and 12 feet tall!!!!

Before showing the featured pictures, I wanted to remind you why sunflowers are my favorite flower. Sunflowers always turn towards the sun - you can literally see them gently turning throughout the day to follow the sun. To be very clear - I am NOT a "sun" worshiper. However, I am a "Son" worshiper: Jesus Christ The Son of God and I strive every day to grow and turn towards Him in every aspect of my life.
ENJOY the following pictures!
All photos were taken by me (Angie Ouellette-Tower) and the sunflowers were all grown in my garden.
