Energy, Frequency & Vibration #13 - BLUE

Energy, Frequency & Vibration #13 - BLUE

This is part 13 in the series on "Energy, Frequency & Vibration."  Last year we learned about the frequency of color and I mentioned that in the future we will go through each color in more detail.  Today, we continue our in depth study of colors with the color BLUE and we will study what significance that color has in the Bible.
(If you didn't read the COLOR post from last year then click HERE to read "COLORS")

Just to refresh our memories - below is the frequency chart from the previous COLOR post:

In Bible commentaries, the color "BLUE" is used to symbolize wisdom, divinity, holiness, heaven and God's commandments.

It seems to me that the "blue" Bible verses can be organized into three categories:
 1.  In the Old Testament - instructions on tabernacle items, requirements for priest robes (clothing) and descriptions of other items for worship.
2.  Referring to the sky and heaven (including Biblical Cosmology)
3.  Water and what water represents/symbolizes

Below are some excerpts from Exodus showing what Aaron and the priests were required to wear (I recommend reading the entire chapter of Exodus 28 to read about the detail that went into the priests' garments):

Wearing blue tassels on garments was meant to remind everyone (all generations) about the commandments.  That way, whenever anyone would see a blue tassel, they would keep their actions in check.

Last year we studied the 7 Covenants - click HERE to read about the 10 Commandments in the Mosaic Covenant.

There was just as much detail (maybe even more detail) that went into the Tabernacle requirements (see verses below).  I recommend reading the entire chapter of Exodus 24 to see all the glorious detail required for the tabernacle.

The color blue was significant in both the tabernacle and on the priestly robes.

Now we move onto the sky.  Notice that God's throne is described as being in the heavens on sapphire colored pavement.  (NOTE - some Bible versions describe it as sapphire and others as lapis lazuli which are both blue gems/stones.  I added the NKJV "sapphire stone" to the NIV version below).

The word "firmament" is very important.  It's something that (until a few years ago) I can honestly say I had never heard a pastor speak on - the topic of Biblical Cosmology.

I know this is going to be controversial, but I would like to share a link to an 8 part series on "Biblical Cosmology" by a pastor in Georgia.  Please give it a listen:
(the remaining 7 parts should show up after you finish part1)

Finally, water.  We know that water is usually described as being blue because it reflects the color of the sky.
In part#6 of this series we studied WATER

We learned that Jesus is the Living Water:

One of my favorite verses in Revelation is the description of what eternity will be like (see below):

The color blue is all around us and is significant in so many ways.
